Special Guest 2018There is an English book called "The Elf on the Shelf". It is about an elf that comes to our houses at Christmas time. Children are not allowed to talk to him but he reports everything we do to Santa Claus. In December he travels to the North Pole every night to tell Santa about the good and bad things children did during the day. The next morning he returns and hides in a different place so that children must search him.

Now I am going to tell you what the elf does in our class. First, I want to tell you that our elf does not come from the North Pole, like most of Santa's helpers. Our elf is from Plymouth, a city in the south of England. He came to us right after Thanksgiving and we gave him the name Freddy Fredinski. He watches us what we are doing in class and at the weekend. He helps us learn to read and to write interesting texts, in English of course. We also learn how to take nice pictures. You can follow us on Instagram (@siemenselves) and see what Freddy does in our class and of course he has a lot of fun with us. He has already seen so much...
